Filler Dissolver

A Filler Dissolver procedure is the method used to dissolve dermal fillers that are injected into the skin to add volume, alter contours of the face or fill in wrinkles. This is a non-surgical procedure that involves injecting a solution known as hyaluronidase into the treated areas. Hyaluronidase, an enzyme that can break down hyaluronic acid-based fillers, works by speeding up the natural breakdown of these fillers by the body. It is a relatively fast procedure that can be done in a few minutes, depending on the area and amount of filler to be dissolved.

To start the Filler Dissolver procedure, a medical professional first applies a numbing cream to the area to reduce discomfort during the injection. Using a fine needle, the professional then delicately injects the hyaluronidase solution into the area where the filler is to be dissolved. The enzyme works quickly to break down the filler, and in most cases, the results can be observed within 24-48 hours. The patient might experience mild swelling or redness at the injection site, but these are temporary and resolve quickly. It should be noted that Filler Dissolver only works on hyaluronic acid-based fillers, and it is not effective for permanent or semi-permanent fillers. Before undergoing this procedure, always consult with a qualified and knowledgeable practitioner.
