Tip Plasty
Description
The tip plasty is a specialized cosmetic procedure focused solely on reshaping the nasal tip to improve its appearance or functionality. Initially, the patient is prepared under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the complexity and extent of the surgery. The surgeon makes precise incisions, typically using a closed (endonasal) approach where incisions are made inside the nostrils, or an open (external) approach involving a small incision on the columella, the tissue between the nostrils. Through these incisions, the surgeon gains access to the underlying cartilage and tissues of the nasal tip. Cartilage is then meticulously reshaped, repositioned, or augmented using autologous cartilage grafts (from the patient's own septum, ear, or rib) to achieve the desired projection, rotation, and definition. Once the desired shape is achieved, incisions are carefully closed with sutures that minimize scarring. The nostrils may be temporarily packed with soft material to stabilize the new shape and reduce bleeding. An external splint or tape might be applied to support the tip during the initial healing phase. The procedure typically takes around one to two hours, depending on the complexity. Post-operative care involves instructions on how to manage swelling and bruising, which peaks within the first week and gradually subsides. Patients are usually advised to avoid strenuous activities and protect the nose from trauma as it heals. Follow-up appointments are essential to monitor healing progress and ensure the desired results are achieved.
Ailments treated by this procedure: Bulbous Nasal Tip, Underprojected Nasal Tip, Columella Show, Columella Retraction, Thick Nasal Skin, Overprojected Nasal Tip, Tip Asymmetry, Nasal Tip Under-rotation, Hanging Columella, Low Projection Tip, Nasal Bossae, Droopy Nasal Tip, Thin Columella, and Nasal Tip Ptosis

BETWEEN Plastic Surgery
Sinnonhyeon, Gangnam Station
Free consultation from the clinic
BETWEEN Plastic Surgery near Gangnam Station offers a range of surgical and non-surgical treatments focused on balanced, natural-looking results with structured safety and aftercare. Rhinoplasty (Nose) Nose Filler is a non-surgical injection treatment used to refine the nasal bridge or smooth minor contour irregularities. It is typically performed in-clinic with little downtime compared with surgery. Custom Rhinoplasty tailors the surgical plan to your facial proportions and nasal anatomy to improve shape, height, and overall balance. The approach can include adjustments to the bridge, tip, and overall profile depending on the design goals. Functional Rhinoplasty addresses structural causes of nasal breathing discomfort while also considering cosmetic balance. It can involve correcting internal support or alignment to improve airflow. Alar Reduction reduces wide nostrils or a flared alar base to create a narrower nasal outline. Incisions are placed strategically to minimize visible scarring while reshaping the nostril margins. Revision Rhinoplasty corrects concerns after a previous nose surgery, such as asymmetry, contour issues, or structural problems. It requires careful analysis of existing scar tissue and support structures to rebuild a stable result. Eye Surgery Non-incisional Double Eyelid Surgery creates a double-eyelid crease using small punctures and sutures rather than a full incision. It is designed for patients who want a defined crease with minimal scarring. Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery forms a crease through an incision that allows more detailed adjustment of skin, fat, and soft tissue. This method is used when a more stable crease design or tissue removal is needed. Ptosis Correction improves the function and position of the upper eyelid to help the eyes look more open. It focuses on adjusting the muscles that elevate the eyelid while maintaining a natural expression. Canthoplasty adjusts the outer eye corner to change the eye’s horizontal length or corner angle. It is used to refine eye shape while preserving a smooth, natural transition at the eyelid margins. Revision Double Eyelid Surgery revises an existing eyelid operation to address issues such as uneven creases, unwanted lines, or scar-related tightness. The procedure is planned around the current crease, tissue condition, and the desired new design. Anti-Aging PRP uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood to support skin quality and overall vitality. It is commonly used to improve the look of texture and tone with a natural-material approach. Fat Grafting transfers purified fat to areas such as the cheeks, under-eyes, or temples to restore volume. It aims to create softer contours using your own tissue. Facelift repositions sagging facial tissues to improve jawline and midface definition. It is designed to reduce the look of facial laxity while keeping results harmonious with your features. Skin Treatments Dermal Filler adds volume and contour to targeted areas such as the lips, cheeks, or nasolabial folds. Treatment is customized by product type and placement depth to match facial structure. Botox relaxes specific facial muscles to soften expression lines such as forehead lines and crow’s feet. It is also used for facial contouring purposes in selected cases, depending on muscle activity. Skin Booster involves micro-injections of hydrating or biostimulatory solutions to improve moisture and skin texture. It focuses on overall skin condition rather than changing facial structure.
