Nose Thread Lift

A Nose Thread Lift procedure, also known as a PDO (Polydioxanone) Thread Lift, is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment designed to enhance and define the shape of the nose. The procedure begins with a thorough consultation where the patient's goals and expectations are discussed. Once a treatment plan is agreed upon, the patient is prepped for the procedure. Local anesthesia is administered to the nose to ensure comfort during the treatment. After ensuring the area is sufficiently numb, the practitioner strategically inserts fine, absorbable threads into the nasal tissue using a cannula or a fine needle. These threads are carefully positioned to achieve the desired lift, contour, and definition, enhancing the height and projection of the nasal bridge or lifting the nasal tip as needed.

The entire process typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the complexity of the case. After the threads are in place, they provide immediate structural support and lift. Over the next few months, the threads stimulate collagen production, which helps to further refine the contours of the nose and prolong the effects of the procedure. Patients can usually resume most normal activities immediately after the procedure, though they might experience minor bruising or swelling, which generally subsides within a few days. Results from a Nose Thread Lift are visible immediately and can last between one to two years, depending on individual factors and the number and type of threads used. Regular follow-up appointments are recommended to monitor the outcomes and determine if additional treatments are needed to maintain the desired aesthetic results.
