Neck Wrinkle Treatment
Description
Neck wrinkle treatment is a cosmetic procedure that aims at minimising the signs of ageing, like sagging skin, creases, and wrinkles that may develop on the neck as a result of ageing, sun damage, weight fluctuations, and genetics. The procedures that are normally used for neck wrinkle treatment include botox injections, dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, and neck lift surgery. Botox injections and dermal fillers are non-invasive treatments that work by plumping the skin or paralyzing certain muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Laser resurfacing involves the use of laser beams to destroy the older skin cells and stimulate the growth of new ones. The choice of treatment largely depends on the degree of the wrinkles and the preference of the individual. Neck lift surgery is usually recommended for severe cases and involves the removal of excess skin and fat, and the tightening of the muscles in the neck. This is an invasive procedure and may require general anesthesia. On the other hand, botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser resurfacing are relatively simpler, less painful, and require lesser recovery time. However, these may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired results. After the chosen procedure, the patient might experience some bruising, swelling or numbing, which should go away in a few days.
