CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting, also known as cryolipolysis, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure designed to reduce localized fat deposits through controlled cooling. During the treatment, an applicator is applied to the targeted area, such as the abdomen, thighs, or flanks. The device draws the tissue into a suction cup and cools it to a temperature that effectively freezes fat cells without damaging the surrounding skin or other tissues. The cooling process typically lasts between 35 to 60 minutes per area, depending on the size of the applicator and the treatment plan devised by the clinician.

After the cooling period is complete, the applicator is removed and the treated area is massaged for a few minutes to help break down the frozen fat cells and enhance the body's natural elimination process. Over the course of several weeks to months, the crystallized fat cells are gradually metabolized and expelled by the body's lymphatic system, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fat deposits and an improved body contour. Patients can generally return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure, as CoolSculpting is associated with minimal discomfort and downtime. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired results, based on the individual’s specific goals and the extent of fat reduction needed.
