Breast Fillers

Breast fillers, also known as non-surgical breast augmentation, involve the injection of dermal fillers into the breast tissue to enhance size, shape, and contour. The procedure typically begins with a consultation where a qualified and experienced medical professional assesses the patient's goals, breast anatomy, and overall health. During this consultation, the practitioner also discusses the types of fillers available, which may include hyaluronic acid-based fillers, collagen-stimulating substances, or autologous fat transfer. Once a suitable filler type is selected, the patient is prepped by cleansing the skin and, if necessary, administering local anesthesia to minimize discomfort during the injection process.

On the day of the procedure, the medical professional marks the areas on the breasts where the fillers will be injected, ensuring precise placement to achieve the desired aesthetic outcome. Using fine needles or cannulas, the filler is carefully injected into the predetermined areas. This process allows the practitioner to sculpt and shape the breasts incrementally, closely monitoring symmetry and volume. After the injections, the breasts are gently massaged to ensure even distribution of the filler. The entire procedure typically takes about 60 to 90 minutes, and patients can usually return to their normal activities within a few days, although temporary swelling, bruising, and tenderness may occur. Results are visible immediately, but the final outcome usually settles within a few weeks as the swelling subsides.
